Almost every 'the app is broken' message an agency receives is one of six problems. None of them require a new phone and none of them require reinstalling five times.
32-bit or 64-bit: pick the right file
Installing the wrong build is the number one cause of an app that opens and immediately closes. Most phones made in the last few years are 64-bit; older budget phones are often 32-bit.
If the app crashes on launch right after install, uninstall it and try the other build before doing anything else.
Install blocked by the phone
Android blocks installs from outside the store until you allow it for the app doing the installing — usually Chrome or your file manager. Allow it for that one app, then run the file again.
Gmail signup fails or loops
Use a Gmail account that is already signed in on the phone and is not attached to another host account. Signing up while a VPN is active is the second most common cause of the loop.
Turn off the VPN, clear the app data, and sign up again.
UID not showing
Your UID appears in the profile section after signup completes. If you cannot see it, signup did not finish — usually verification was skipped. Complete verification and the UID appears.
Send the UID to your agency the moment you have it. Nothing else can be tracked without it.
Camera or microphone permission denied
If you tapped 'Deny' once, the app will never ask again. Open the phone's app settings, find the Hollah app, and enable camera, microphone and storage manually.
Stuck in the verification screen
A verification loop is nearly always a lighting or name problem: too dark to match the ID photo, or a profile name written differently to the document. Fix the lighting, correct the name, and retry once — repeated failed attempts can lock the check for a day.
